“Westward Ho at the Texaco” will be Friday, September 10th, at Bruce Nims’ restored Texaco station in the 200 block of West Main Street, next door to Wildflour Artisan Bakery & Cafe. The event will include a big tent, great food, free beer (and yes root-beer floats), fiddling, roping contests, square dancing, line dancing and an upscale garage sale, with antiques and art from Decatur artists.
