DECATUR, Ill. – Due to circumstances precipitated by the recent winter storms, the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra Masterworks III concert scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5, at Kirkland Fine Arts Center has been canceled.

Refunds for single ticket purchases can be secured from the Kirkland Ticket Office by calling 217.424.6318.

“This was not an easy decision to make but was made with the artistic quality of our performances and the safety of everyone traveling in mind,” said Dr. William McClain, director of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra. “On behalf of all the members of the orchestra we are disappointed not to be able to perform this weekend, but I am happy to announce that we will still feature our Millikin student soloists later this season.”

Student soloists scheduled to perform this concert will be rescheduled to perform for the Masterworks V concert on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
